We all have our bad days, and sometimes, reliving your good memories can be one way to make yourself feel better, even temporarily. In this friendship quest inDisney Dreamlight Valley, Anna’s trying to do the same for her sister Elsa.

After spending some time in Dreamlight Valley and regaining her memories, Elsa’s feeling a bit sad, and it’s up to you and Anna to help her feel better. In this guide, we’ll show you how to unlock the quest, Do You Wanna Build a Snowman, craft the Snow Family furniture piece, and complete the quest.
How To Start Do You Wanna Build A Snowman
To unlock Do You Wanna Build a Snowman, you’ll need to haveAnna’s friendship at level 10, and you’ll also need to have unlocked andprogressed in Elsa’s quests, as wellas Remy’s questsenough to haveChez Remy unlocked.
You also need tohave bothSunlit Plateau and Frosted Heightsunlocked.
Once you meet the requirements,speak to Anna to start the quest. Agree to help her, and she’ll ask you tofind a special Book of Portraits.
Where To Find The Book Of Portraits
Go to Anna and Kristoff’s house, and inside their library, you’ll find anorange glowing book near one of the tables. Pick it up, then speak to Anna again.
She’ll thank you for finding it, saying that she wants the pictures to help Elsa and also suggests making her sister a birthday cake.
Anna will hand you the recipe for a Birthday Cake even if you’ve discovered it before.Go into your inventory and use the item, then your quest will update.
How To Make The Birthday Cake
To make Birthday Cake, a 5-star Dessert dish, you’ll needone Cocoa Bean, one Wheat, one Sugarcane, one Egg, and one Butter.

Cocoa Bean x1
Found on Cocoa Bean trees at both the Glade of Trust and the Sunlit Plateau.
Wheat x1
Can be grown from seeds or bought from Goofy’s stall at Peaceful Meadows. Also has a chance to spawn in Wall-E’s garden.
Sugarcane x1
Can be grown from seeds or bought from Goofy’s stall at Dazzling Beach. Also has a chance to spawn in Wall-E’s garden.
Egg x1
Butter x
Bought at Chez Remy for 190 Star Coins.
Once you get all the ingredients together,go to any cooking station and make the cake. It can be found in theDessert tab or the Quest Recipe tab.
With the cake made, your quest will update.Bring both the Book of Portraits and the Birthday Cake to Elsaand give them to her.
Elsa will thank both you and Anna for the kind gifts and mention how they used to make snowmen as children. After, you’ll need to find Anna and speak to her again.
How To Craft The Snow Family
Update Anna on her sister’s reaction to the gifts, and she’ll get an idea from it: making snowmen for Elsa like the ones from their childhood. To make the Snow Family furniture item, you’ll needPebbles, Snowballs, Fabric, Dry Wood, and Carrots.
Pebble x12
Can be dug up with the royal shovel occasionally atDazzling Beach, the Forest of Valor, Sunlit Plateau, or Forgotten Lands. Also sold atKristoff’s stallrandomly.
Snowball x40
Drops whenmining ice crystals that spawn at the Frosted Heights, or can be dug up with the shovel in the same location. Also sold atKristoff’s stallrandomly.
Fabric x8
Crafted with 5 Cottonat a crafting bench, soyou’ll need 40 Cotton total. Cotton can be bought or grown from seeds atGoofy’s stallat Sunlit Plateau.
Dry Wood x8
Found on the ground under trees at bothFrosted Heights, Sunlit Plateau, or the Forgotten Lands.
Carrot x4
Purchased at or grown from seeds sold atGoofy’s stallat Dazzling Beach. Seeds can also be found occasionally when removing Night Thorns in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadows.
After you’ve gathered everything,return to Anna and speak to her again.
She’ll tell you it’s up to you to actually make the Snow Family, so make your way to any crafting station you’ve placed andgo to the Furniture tab.Locate the Snow Family in the list, then craft it.
Placing The Snow Family
After you craft the Snow Family, your quest will update, andyou’ll need to place it within the Forest of Valor. Go into your inventory, then to the Furniture tab, and place the Snow Family where you want to.
It can be anywhere as long as it’swithin the boundaries of the Forest of Valor.
How To Finish The Quest
As soon as you exit the Furniture screen, your screen will fade to black, and a brief cutscene will play out. You’ll teleport over to where you placed the Snow Family and take a commemorative photo with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and the Snow Family.
After the photo,speak to Anna, and she’ll thank you for helping bring back some old memories and make new ones with them.She’llreward you with the “Fall’s Bounty” Gownand1,230 Friendship, then the quest will be complete.
