ForDungeons & Dragonsfans, the Zhentarim will be a familiar name — a mercenary company also known as the Black Network. InBaldur’s Gate 3, you’re able to also meet some of the Zhentarim, and, more importantly, discover their secret hideout for some sweet loot.

How To Find The Zhentarim Hideout
The Zhentarim Hideout is hidden withinWaukeen’s Rest, found at(X;-64, Y:566).
At Waukeen’s Rest, you’ll encounter the’Rescue the Grand Duke' quest, which we have a full guide for here.
Head to theShabby Doorat(X:-114, Y:614)within Waukeen’s Rest. You’ll have to pass a couple of Skill Checks upon entering if you haven’t already received the password or usedDetect Thoughtsto uncover it, after which your would-be attacker will give you a key and welcome you to use the secret entrance hatch at(X:-128, Y:616).
Next, use the key on theWardrobeat(X:382, Y:-260)in the next chamber and then descend the stairs.
Inside the hideout, you’ll meet Zarys and may have to pass another skill check depending on your prior choices. Once inside, there are a few things to do.
There are many valuable items down here to loot, though you’ll have to pickpocket some of the Zhentarim for keys to get to some of the better goods.
Be warned that if you are found to be stealing from them, the Zhentarim will all turn hostile towards you.
How To Expand Trader Brem’s Wares
Inside the hideout, there is a trader namedBremthat sells wares. you’re able to find him around(X:294, Y:-251).
You can expand Brem’s wares to include a wide range of rare, decent gear if youfind the missing shipment for the Zhentarimand return it unopened.

‘Free The Artist’ Quest
You can find an artist by the name ofOskarwithin the hideout at(X:291, Y:-251). You can help him out by saving him in a couple of ways:
Once he is free, you can speak to Oskar again and choose whether to give him 200 gold to him on his way.

Find The Missing Shipment Quest
You can read Zarys' mind to find out about Rugan and the missing cargo, or just speak to her, and she’ll offer you a job. If, by chance, you have not done anything with the Gnolls and caravan, this unlocks the’Find The Missing Shipment' Quest.
If you already have the Caravan Strongbox, you can:
Defeating them means you’re able to loot their bodies, including taking the Zhentarim Key from Zarys, but the Zhentarim will all be hostile to you, which could lead to further repercussions later in the game.
Entrance To The Underdark
Around(X:272, Y: -186),there is a false wall that your party can alert you to if they pass a Perception check. Inside isan elevator thatcan take you down to the Underdark, but you’ll need a key.
You can pickpocket the guard calledKarad,who patrols the area, to be able to use the elevator, but make sure you’re not discovered.
Be warned that going anywhere near this area and being seen by the Zhentarim will make them attack you.
