You’ll be overwhelmed with various resources as soon as you start playingStarfield, just like you’d expect from an interstellar open-world game. There are many different kinds of resources in the game, but the most common are the raw resources that can be found on various planets or moons in the Settled Systems.

Argon is one such raw resource, and it usually appears in a gaseous form. It’s an important resource for various weapon upgrades and outpost structures, and you’ll need to farm it in bulk if you want enough. Thankfully, this resource gets much easier to farm as the game progresses.
Finding It In DIfferent Star Systems
The best and the only way you have to farm Argon during the very early game is bylocating differentplanets that contain this resourceand landing on them. To locate these planets, you’ll first have to enter a certain star system and then zoom in on each planet to find its resources on the left side.
You might even have toteleport to that planet with your Spaceshipto find the resources on it sometimes.

Once you’ve located a planet with Argon on it, you can use the Show Resources mechanic to locate the general areas where you can easily find this resource. This mechaniccan only be used when you teleport to the planet and get close to it. Land on one of the areas marked as Argon and you’ll find it in abundance.
Argon is found in a rock structure surrounded by poisonous gas. This gas isn’t harmful if you stay in it for just a little while. Once you locate an Argon, quickly run toward it and press the button you need to press to pick up items. This will put the resource in your inventory. Some best star systems to find this resource are:

Looking For Argon Vendors
One of the best methods to get a ton of Argon quickly once you have a decent amount of Credits is bylooking for various vendorswho have this gas in stock. As mentioned above, this resource is quite common so it can usually be found with most vendors who have the resource tab in their inventory.
You can easily find over 15 Argon from one vendor, and you canalways rest for about 24 hours after buying it to refresh their stock. Some of the best vendors to look for this resource are:

Before you enter a certain planet to get to a vendor, make sureyou don’t have any bounty on your head.
Building An Argon Extractor
Finally, the best way to make your own Argon and have an unlimited supply of the resource is by building an Argon Extractor. This can be done by locating one of the Argon veins on the planets where you can find this resource. This vein is under the ground, but you can see it clearly in the Scanner mode.
Once you find a vein, simply build an Outpost nearby and then an Argon Extractor on top of the vein. If you can’t build an Outpost on a certain planet, you just have to level up your Planetary Habitation skill. After building an Outpost, you’ll have to supply it with Power using various Power sources in the game.
You can also connect it with aGas Storage, Transfer Container, or Cargo Linkto store a bunch of Argon.
After you set up the Extractor, you can visit this planet whenever you want and reap your rewards.
