Ever since the release ofHonkai: Star Rail, Preservation and Abundance characters have been an integral part of the game due to its turn-based combat nature. You can’t prevent any of your characters from taking damage in this game, so you have to bring characters that can shield or heal them.
Fu Xuan is a five-star Preservation character who excels at damage mitigation. However, you’ll need quite a lot of materials to build her since you’ll have to upgrade her abilities as much as possible. Here’s everything you need to farm if you’re planning to pull this character.

Fu Xuan Ascension Materials
You can upgrade a character to level 80 in Honkai: Star Rail, but it’s not easy since the process is gated by multiple ascensions. These ascensionscan be unlocked as youupgrade your Equilibrium level, but you’ll still have to spend a few resources to trigger them. Here’s what you’ll need:

Apart from the materials mentioned above,you’ll still need a bunch of Credits and Character EXP materialsto upgrade her.
Nail of the Ape is a World Boss material released alongside the Version 1.3 update, and you canonly find it in the Scalegorge Waterscape area after finishing the required Trailblaze Mission. Moreover, you can easily farm the Artifex’s Module, Cogwheel, and Gyreheart throughsmall mechanical enemies on The Xianzhou Luofu.
Fu Xuan Trace Materials
The ascension materials for Fu Xuan might be straightforward,but there are quite a lot of complications when it comes to her traces. The materials required for her Basic Attack trace are completely different from her Skill, Talent, and Ultimate. Here are all the materials you need for these traces:

Keep in mind that the materials mentioned above are therequirements for one ability.
If you want to upgrade Fu Xuan’s Skill, Ultimate, and Talent,you’ll need three times the total materials.
Apart from all this, you’ll also seethree Bonus Ability and many other smaller nodes in Fu Xuan’s trace tree. These Bonus Abilities are unlocked after specific ascension, and they’ll require more materials to get if they’re unlocked on higher ascensions. You’ll also need to upgrade her to level 80 to get the final node.
It’s highly recommended to unlock these side notes as fast as you can since they cangive her some permanent stat boosts that’ll help you massively in combat.
