Endless Dungeonis a Roguelite game where you take an elevator to various floors with different Districts. You have to get past five different floors in a run, but you’ll start all over again if you get eliminated or the Crystal Bot loses all its health. However, there are a few things that stay with you permanently.
Scrap is one such resource, and you can use it for various permanent upgrades that’ll help you during your run. You can see the amount of Scrap you have on the right side of the screen both in the Saloon and the dungeons.
How To Get Scrap
Scrap is one of the easier resources to get in Endless Dungeonsince you simply have to play the game to acquire it. Essentially, whenever you defeat an enemy, they have a chance of dropping Scrap. However, this chance is quite low at first and you’ll only get an average of 400-500 Scrap even if you make it to the deepest parts of the game.
One of the important things to remember is to collect your Scrap from different wave rooms. Usually, you’d put turrets inside wave rooms to prevent enemies from getting out. If the enemies are defeated in these rooms,their Scrap will stay there until you specifically go there to pick it.
You can alsostation one of your team members at an enemy spawnerto collect the Scrap continuously.
Ideally, you’d want tocheck all these spawnersbefore you start the final wave to leave the zone with your Crystal Bot.
Where To Use Scrap
Since Scrap is a permanent commodity that stays with you even after a run, you can only use it in the Saloon. Once you do your first run,you’ll have the Workshop unlocked at the bottom right side of the Saloon. When you enter the Workshop, you’ll see the Saloon section on the top left where you can spend your Scrap to get various upgrades.
Some of these upgrades likeRe-Recycling and Ragpicking even let you get more Scrap during your runs, and it’s recommended to get these first. All of these are permanent upgrades that stay with you for the rest of your Endless Dungeon journey. you may even unlock the ability to take three characters down to the Districts here.
