Therefore, we had to return to this piece about where to watch everything Dragon Ball-related and remove the Funimation site as an option. In the process, we’ve made several more updates and changes to make sure any important information about watching Dragon Ball is included.
This guide pertains to the English dubbed version of the shows and movies, except when stated otherwise.

Humble Beginnings
The original Dragon Ball series follows Goku when he’s just a strange young boy living in the woods. This is where he meets teenage Bulma, who teaches him about the wish-granting Dragon Balls. The two go on a journey to find them. This leads to many other dangerous adventures.
The original Dragon Ball series is a lot more low-key than the later shows. But it’s still very engaging and worth watching. It’s available through Amazon’s Prime Video service. However, the show isn’t free with Amazon Prime. You have to buy the episodes and seasons individually.

The Series That Made The Franchise Famous

Dragon Ball Z begins several years after the events of the original series. Goku is now an adult with his own child. Yet, peace doesn’t last too long, as more dangerous foes are out there. As a result, the show includes several sagas of Goku and the Z-Warriors fighting villains who are threatening innocent lives.
For many,Dragon Ball Zis what got them into the franchise. Now, Amazon allows you to buy all the episodes and seasons through Prime Video. You can also find the individual DVD and Blu-ray seasons at various retailers.

Your other option is to watch the show on Crunchyroll. To view all the episodes, though, you will need to invest in a premium subscription for the site. Dragon Ball Z Kai
Prettiest Version Of Dragon Ball Z
Dragon Ball Z Kai is a remastered version of Dragon Ball Z. The core story is the same. The visuals are improved, and the voice-acting is mostly redone. Plus, it removes a lot of the filler from DBZ. It keeps the main sagas and the big fights, though.
Dragon Ball Z Kai is a remaster of DBZ that attempts to be more like the Manga. All the episodes and seasons are available for purchase on Amazon Prime Video, and the entire dubbed version is also available on Hulu.

If you prefer physical products, though, you can buy the Blu-rays and DVDs of the series from several retailers. You will struggle to find an official box set of the entire series, though. Yet, the seasons are available separately.
Dragon Ball GT
The Forgotten Sequel
Years of peace are disrupted when Goku is transformed into a child once again at the start of this sequel series. So, he, Pan, and Trunks attempt to put things right. It becomes more complicated than they ever could imagine, though.
As for physical media, you can grab the entire box set of the series from various places, such as Walmart and Best Buy. There are two different box sets, but they aren’t significantly different.

All About Gods And Tournaments
In Dragon Ball Super, the story goes beyond mere mortals as the Z-Warriors meet gods, most notably the God of Destruction, Beerus. Naturally, Goku and Vegeta want god-level powers of their own. However, they also have new threats and dangers to deal with in the process of acquiring that strength.
Superis the latest Dragon Ball series to be released in the US, and it came a long time after the others. To witness the adventure, you can buy individual episodes and seasons from Amazon Prime Video. You can also find the series on Crunchyroll and Hulu. In fact, several episodes on Crunchyroll can be watched without a premium account, but they will have ads.
You can pick up the individual DVDs and Blu-rays of the series from various retailers. Each one is called a ‘part’ instead of ‘season.’
Piccolo Is Earth’s Last Hope
The Red Ribbon Army finally returns in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. This time, they have a new scientist working for them. Goku and Vegeta aren’t around to stop the villains. So, it’s Piccolo and Gohan’s time to shine.
There are a lot of Dragon Ball movies set indifferent parts of the timeline. The most recent ones, such as Super: Super Hero, Super: Broly, and Resurrection ‘F,’ are the easiest to find. Each one is available to buy through Amazon Prime Video, and they’re also available on Crunchyroll. Many of the other movies are also available on Crunchyroll, but only with English subtitles.
To get the dubbed versions of the older movies, you may have to opt for the DVDs. You can get plenty of them from Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. Some of them even come in collections, which can save you money if you want to get many of them.
