Apart from the procedural generation ofRemnant 2, the game also gives you some choices when it comes to the final boss fights. One of these choices can be seen in the Losomn area if you start at the palace entry when you first enter. At the end, you’ll meet both Faerin and Faelin in different parts of the palace.

Both of these characters will initially talk to you and ask you to defeat their counterpart. You can choose to challenge any one of them to end the Losomn story, but here’s how your choice can impact your gameplay.
Does Your Choice Change The Story?
Remnant 2 has quite an immersive story, and many players might be worried about getting a bad ending by making the wrong choice. Thankfully, your choice between Faerin and Faelindoesn’t have any impact on the Losomn story or the game’s story in general.
Moreover, your battle against the two bosses will also roughly stay the same as they share asimilar attack pattern and the battlefield has the same shape and area. In the end, you won’t feel any weight of your choice when it comes to the main story or the difficulty of battle. Although, the battle against Faerin can be slightly more difficult.

Difference Between The Two Boss Fights
The main difference between Faerin’s and Faelin’s boss fight is the final drops. If youdefeat Faelin, you canget Imposter’s Heart, which can later be used by McCabe to make the Deceit Long Gun. This weapon has charged shots that deal 120 damage at the base level, and it also comes with the Ouroboros mod.
When used, this mod creates three fragments around the player. If you perform a normal Melee attack, one fragment is fired to the target andall Deceit shots register as hits on weakspots for a bit. Moreover, you may also get Faerin’s Sigil ring from him, whichlets you generate extra Mod Power on Critical and Weakspot hits.

On the other hand, defeating Faerin gives you Melded Hiltthat can becrafted into the Godsplitter Melee weapon with 38 damage at the base level. This also comes with a special mod called Fracture, which makes all your attacks be considered as a Weakspot hit after a Charge Attack hits an enemy.
you’re able to also get the Faelin’s Sigil ring from him this time, and this ring generates 10 percent extra Mod Power on dealing Melee damage. Clearly, you should be going forFaelin if you want to have a Ranged buildandFaerin if you want to have a Melee build.
If you want to get both their items, you canget the same storyline in Adventure Modeand defeat the other boss this time.
you may also craft a special item by visiting Nimue after you get both Faelin’s and Faerin’s Sigils.
