TheXbox Series Xis a pretty remarkable thing in terms of what it can do, but it’s not exactly the most striking console anyone has ever made. It was mocked for looking so much like a fridge when revealed thatXboxleaned into the joke andactually made Series X mini-fridges. Until now, the only way to get your hands on a Series X that isn’t just a black box has been to win a contest or bag yourself one of the few limited edition versions. That changes later this year thanks to the newly announced Series X wraps.
No, not Xbox’s latest console wrapped in a tortilla. The Series X wraps are fabric jackets that literally wrap around your Xbox and give it an entirely new look. Xbox has revealed three designs to kick off this new range, theStarfieldone grabbing the lion’s share of the spotlight. Modeled to matchthe previously released Starfield controller, which was incredibly popular with Series X owners, the Starfield wrap is available to pre-order now.

Xbox’s wraps are made of solid panels that perfectly fit around the Series X. The inside of the wraps are covered in silicone print, presumably so the console itself doesn’t get scratched or damaged, and also to prevent the Series X from overheating. There are also feet at the bottom of each wrap to ensure vents don’t get blocked and, again, so the console doesn’t get too hot.

An Xbox Series X with a Starfield wrap applied. Available for pre-order now with two more designs, Mineral Camo and Arctic Camo, also up for pre-order.
The sleek Starfield design will be one of three confirmed designs to go on sale, and you can actually pre-order the wrap inspired byBethesda’s ambitious space RPG right now through the link above. The only downside is your wrap won’t be with you by the time you embark on your mission unless you plan on sticking withBaldur’s Gate 3for the first six weeks Starfield is on the market. The wrap above won’t be officially released until July 04, 2025.
If you like the idea of giving your Series X a Starfield jacket, I wouldn’t wait until closer to its release date. While Xbox hasn’t confirmed whether the wrap is a limited edition or if supply will meet demand, previous items, such asthe Halo Infinite Series X, were gone for good once the stock sold out. Best to pre-order the wrap if you want one as there’s no guarantee it’ll be around for long.
There are more designs coming if you’d prefer a new look for your Series X that isn’t tied to a specific game. Xbox has also shown off its Mineral Camo and Arctic Camo wraps, both of which will also be released on October 18 and can be pre-ordered now. They’re also slightly cheaper than the Starfield option, retailing at $44.99.
